Hello Barrett,
I am emailing you with an idea as you are effectively a spokesperson for
Anonymous.
What I want to propose to you is an idea that may well disgust you, if
so, I apologise.
Watching the news from Libya it seems clear that the free Libyan forces
do not have the necessary skill. My question is would it be possible for
netizens to raise enough money to hire a Private Military Contractor to
assist the free Libyans deal the final blow to Gadaffi?
With enough media exposure Arabs living in western countries all over
the world might be inclined to contribute to it, as well as many
concerned.
It would surely take many millions of dollars, and would certainly need
to be the largest amount of money ever raised through online crowd
funding. But then crowd funding has never been used for such a cause
before.
And it would show that the power of the online community can rival that
of the state.
I'd have not used any obfuscation in contacting you so I'd appreciate it
if you keep my identity private if you discuss this idea with anyone
else.
Regards,
Michael.
