An Evening With Ayman Mohyeldin, Al Jazeera English Correspondent
|
Monday, March 21st
6:30PM - 9:00PM
LOCATION TBA - SAVE THE DATE
Cairo-based Ayman Mohyeldin - whose reports riveted viewers of the Al Jazeera English news service during the popular uprising that brought down Hosni Mubarak - visits
the New York Press Club to share his experiences as a reporter in the region and to talk about the unrest that is cascading across other kingdoms and countries of Africa
and the Middle East.
An Arab American journalist who lately has been reporting extensively on the Egyptian revolution, Ayman was previously based in Gaza and he was one of the
only international journalists to report from there during the Gaza War in 2008-2009. He has also reported on other aspects of the Israel-Palestinian conflict, sectarian
violence in Lebanon, human rights abuses in the Gulf and on political and social issues from across the United States.
Join us for an evening of Q&A with Ayman Mohyeldin and hear at first hand his experiences watching and reporting as millions in the Middle East rage against
oppression - with results.
Moderator: Stephanie Gaskell founder/editor, The War Report.
Free admission for NY Press Club members (RSVP please).
Non-members: $10, Students: $5. Visit our Website for more information and to reserve.
