Hi,
Im a feature writer with The Toronto Star, Canadas largest circ daily. I am writing hoping you might be able to help me out with a story I am doing on Anonymous.
Would you be willing to answer a few (maybe dumb, maybe not) questions, either via email or telephone or VOIP or whatever?
These are the sorts of things I am seeking answers to:
Q: Tell me a bit about yourself and what you're about. Are you in the UK? The US?
Q: Who or what is Anonymous?
Q: In your most recent piece for the Guardian, you refer to we. Who is we? The hacktivists that have been targeted by the law?
Q: Is there an Anonymous central? (I know that there isn't but I have to ask if only to get laughed at.)
Q: From what I can tell it uses a Blackhole server. Correct? What does that mean?
Q: There are lots of people using some variation of Anonymous as a handle on Twitter. I guess some are just hangers-on? Is there a real/actual handle?
Q: We now have WikiLeaks, Anonymous and who knows what else. Seems that something is happening in cyberia that is going over most people's heads. Do you agree? Any thoughts?
Q: What's with the Pokemon thing? ie. Mudkipz.
Q: Are these stupid questions? :-)
I really appreciate any time you can give this.
