Call me at 214-219-3210. I'm in a meeting at this office. Ask for Barrett. Try to do so quickly. Don't provide that phone number to anyone else.

Thanks so much. And, I'm interested in any other similar documents that might surface going forward, so it would great if you could keep me posted.
In terms of the organization, a lot of people describe it as a loose-knit organization with a core group of about a dozen people, is that correct? And, are all of that dozen in the US? If not, where else?
And, lastly, out of curiosity, how did your involvement in anonymous - and role as informal spokesman - come about?
Kind regards,
Cassell

Only one subpoena is known to us at the moment, in pursuant to the California grand jury convening on the 10th. Copies below:Attachment to federal grand jury subpoena: http://img806.imageshack.us/img806/1708/subz.jpgPretty much everything we know about the investigation has already appeared in Bloomberg and other outlets; see the recent NPR interview with Owen, for instance. The National Lawyers Guild can answer more specific questions. I can tell you that an associate of someone called Commander X, who runs a related group called the People's Liberation Front, was raided by Feds, who found drugs in the home he shares with his ex-girlfriend. They have told him that unless he cooperates with the agent out in California with whom he's supposed to check in next week, they will charge the ex-girlfriend with possession. We have decided to forgo providing disinfo to the feds through that front in favor shining light on this common and immoral practice.I serve as an informal spokesman for Anonymous as well as informal legal organizer, among other things. Sometimes I write portions of the press releases; other times I edit them. I talk to reporters. I organize projects involving such things as guides and dark nets for North African subject populations and control my own organization, Project PM, to those ends. I advise on a number of issues. There is no formal hierarchy in Anonymous; one gains influence by showing that one is an asset and that one is ethical enough to wield power without abusing it.

I'm still not able to get through calling either from my landline or cell. Perhaps I could ask you a few questions by email. I was hoping to find out more about the subpoenas served to members of anonymous, am I right in thinking you have some kind of spokesman role for Anonymous? If so, do you know how many subpoenas have been served and can you forward me copies of any of them? And, what other detail about the searches, evidence gathered, and grand jury hearing can you share? Also, what is your relation to Anonymous and role in the group? And, is there anyone in the core group of people behind Anonymous that you suggest I speak to, or any of their lawyers?Kind regards,Cassell
