Barrett, yes talking to satellite providers would be great - except that they require the client to have special hardware. You need a satellite dish and/or a special adapter to receive satellite internet. Anyway it wouldn't hurt to try.

Serval is a great set of press releases at the moment. They have no code released, so they're no use to us... yet.

Also think it might be worth speaking with satellite net providers, ask them to donate equipment in exchange for the good publicity.

Probably too late to help Egypt, the army is going to decide this one way or the other now, but for Yemen/Algeria/Jordan and onward.
