I also want to apologize to everyone involved, and will do so more formally soon. I was never entirely honest with any of you except for a few people such as Hastings about what my intent was, and I don't want any of you to suffer for it. I lied to Clark by omission and probably directly at certain points. I would blame this on my former heroin addiction were it not for the fact that I've been planning this, broadly, since I was a teenager. Good intentions do not change the fact that I have been dishonest with some of the most ethical and capable people I have ever met. Nonetheless, I ask you to please take the infrastructure that you have been crucial in building and do with it what was intended.

See message from Barrett immediately below.  I believe you would be the best person to assume leadership of the 'old' Project PM.  From the beginning the project has needed the kind of technical skills you have exercised to create an actual web presence.

By the 'old' Project PM, I mean a collective effort to develop an information network along the lines of the the Newswire structure you mocked up, the science journalism initiative, and information-centered charitable work--but not involving hacking, civil disobedience, or anonymity of participants.

Barrett and I agreed early last year that Project PM would be controlled by Barrett until a formal governing structure is in place (which has not occurred) so hand-off of leadership is entirely in Barrett's gift.

If you are willing, let me know and we can continue this conversation in the Project PM Commons for the benefit of other participants.

Clark

Clark, it's about time for Project PM to split into two entities, one which I'll continue to lead and one for those who would prefer to stay out of the war I've been prepping for over the last year. Obviously Scott has left and Campbell is getting uncomfortable and I want our overt plans to continue. I'd like you to either take over the "legal" faction or ask Campbell or someone else to do so.

What's a name and e-mail address of someone in Dallas (family, probably) to contact in case you get cut off from communications in all this.

More likely, I should go into hiding like Assange did and start announcing in advance that the feds, etc, will try to pin a sex crime on me.

This one, could make out the Greenwald pic, House tweeted that he was one of the others, wondered if you were among the others:

I will have to go buy a TV antenna so I can watch 60 Mins this week.

Maybe I or somebody should come to Texas and hold you hostage until you get the book updated for rapid marketing to take advantage of this.

Oh, I don't think I was on those documents with Greenwald, just the Anon document; not sure which you meant.

Yes, I was on the document. He had identified me as using several screen names I hadn't heard of. Neither Housh or I were identified as people who are obviously in the public eye already.

Got al-Jazeera op-ed coming up today, did interview with NPR last night, Housh and I talking to 60 minutes tomorrow. Bloomberg piece yesterday. Village Voice piece coming up soon. Going to tell some literary agents that they're idiots.

I read this earlier this morning (I think Emma tweeted it), been laughing ever since, the powerpoint slides are a hoot!  I could not enlarge/improve the image of the one with the faces on it (p. 2) sufficiently to see who made it on besides Greenwald  and David House--were you honored?

From Bloomberg: Its goal is “a perpetual revolution across the world that goes on until governments are basically overwhelmed and results in a freer system,” he said.

I have already said you're the prophet of this age.
