Hey guys -Looks very cool. Their wiki describes most of this in the future tense though,which makes me unsure how far they ever got with it. Also, it seems like a kind of poor brother to Commons - this pirate politics platform is really around setting up a political platform that is updated by people... rather than about information sharing or community building. In a nutshell: I can see how it could be adapted, but I don't see that it would suit our purposes any better than what we already have in place.C

JUst simply from what youre outlining, with a sub-network somewhat running things, it sounds like you would be interested in setting up an instance of the http://code.google.com/p/pirate-politics/ project, created by former American Pirate Party members as a foundation for internet based activism. Its got a system for submitting, voting, and commenting on ideas, and sounds like sjut what you might need.
