I know to dial Egypt from a regular phone you have to dial 011 then the country and city code. I know they are in Cairo but I'm not sure if the city code is the same for cell service. Hope you can use skype and that this works. Just checking things after digging out my house and I guess it's getting ugly.

I just double checked and that's the one she had. Talking to an Egyptian woman in Texas who has contacts among the activists there. Since mobile service is back up she will be in touch and giving me more info. I'll pass it along when I get it.

With the Iranian protests we started keeping lists of the arrested, injured and killed. Since the police are off the streets in Egypt idk if anyone is being arrested anymore but it might be a good idea to track anyone who was before they disappeared. If crackdowns start up, they'll have need of medical supplies and first aid info. in Arabic as it becomes too dangerous to go to the hospitals. I only have it in Farsi but can get Arabic translations. There is a lot that can be done in preparation for other countries too that might not pull back authority so quickly. All hard lessons learned in Iran. Field first aid becomes crucial.

I'll let you know as soon as I hear from her. please let me know if there's anything I can do.
