I am willing to help, but obviously must be brought up to speed on technology. The problem is assuming I enter a notice of appearance on behalf of any one person I am largely conflicted out on behalf of any one else down the road. So should I enter on behalf of a marginal potential source or witness, I cannot move in to a case down the road of a target or an actual defendant. In terms of the Cali subpoena the feds got too cute by half. This type of subpoena which "permits" for compliance by providing documents to an agent is essentially grand jury abuse, although it is a losing argument. Often they use the grand jury subpoena not to necessarily put some one before a panel -- as it triggers issues of various privileges or immunity grants -- but to intimidate "witnesses" or custodians of records into providing documents, or potential leads, out side the grand jury without the more demanding grand jury process itself. The bottom line is I am interested but would prefer to assist in the most effective way. On the other hand the person who received the subpoena needs counsel. My strategy would be to file a notice get compliance continued while I came up to speed. Probably advise non-compliance outside the grand jury, force the issue of immunity and perhaps move to quash.

No. Owen is the one who owns the server (and was thus incorrectly cited as founder of Anonymous by HBGary Federal/Financial Times). He was hit with raid but is more concerned about Coldblood, a fellow in U.K. whom we know to be innocent but was among the five arrested there. He's got a lawyer, though. The investigation ought not center on any one individual; there are a couple of dozen very active participants and I can't think of any who could be defined as "in charge;" we truly are a collective of sorts. I was mentioned in the document we grabbed today, but not very accurately. I may get a subpoena at some point soon but not sure what Feds think of me. I don't DDOS and am not a hacker; just help with strategy, propaganda, organization, etc.

Heh. Here it is again, below. Meanwhile, we're about finish press release on today's action against the collaborator firm HBGary Federal, which sounds a lot like Glenn Gary Glenn Ross or whatever, come to think of it.

As I mentioned, there are three people I'm assisting in this.

"Trivette" is a channel operator of anonops.ru, where a large faction of the Anonymous movement does its work. He's a California male whose documents you have (partially, it seems). Here is the entirety of what I have; if other info is needed from him, let me know and I'll get it ASAP. The relevant grand jury starts on Feb 10.

"Owen" controls the anonops.ru server. He was raided by the FBI but has not received any subpoena. He doesn't seem interested in any legal advice until such point as he is required to get off his ass by the Feds.

"Rabbit"/"No" is a 19-year-old Nevada female. Her family home was raided and she was questioned at that point. She actually called right after I got off with you and told me the following:

Equipment seized:

two broken laptops
two jump drives
father's laptop
mac book
samsung phone
iphone
router

The search warrant was shown to her only after she had requested to see it several times and was questioned about MasterCard etc (it's looking like the MIAA thing may just be peripheral or even unrelated, as I'm just now able to determine). It's headlined United States District Court of Nevada. According to one section, it was supposed to be carried out by Feb 9 - one day before the California grand jury goes down. She'll be able to scan it and get it to you or whoever ends up assisting by Thursday but it's in reference to her having allegedly accessed a secure computer to obtain information, 18 U.S. c 1030a2c.

Her phone number is 870-656-3868.

I do know that Feb 10th is the date on that subpoena but he doesn't even know if he's required to be there; I've been asking the other legal people but none have gotten back to me. I'm the exact opposite of a lawyer, you see.

All we have thus far in terms of subpoenas is the copies I sent you. The guy concerned doesn't know. Need me to resend, or do you want to speak to him?

What are the return or appearance dates for the various subpoenas that have been served. And where are the earliest ones returnable.

Not until the April rally/press conference where we'll be speaking with Greenwald, Barry Eisler, and Heidi of NLG. Would come earlier but have no funds until I finish this film treatment. Also, this: http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2011/2/6/20216/40699/30/941730?mode=edit

The following document was acquired today by Anonymous. It was produced by Aaron Barr of HBGary Federal - don't bother checking the website because it no longer exists.
