Barrett Brown here; you were kind enough to exaggerate my talent in a book blurb you wrote for my first, Flock of Dodos, years back. I am now heavily involved in perpetuating the Anonymous movement and as you may have heard, we have been busy with both unconventional aid to North African activists and some 40 raids by the FBI and other bodies in advance of a grand jury investigation. It has fallen on me to arrange legal advice and other support for the several with whom I work closely on such things as OpTunisia and other efforts, and have just spoken with Stanley Cohen, who will be providing his initial opinion tomorrow, as well as Heidi of National Lawyer's Guild and a few others. I don't know how you feel about Anonymous and our efforts, but I promised several people that I would do everything I can to ensure that they are protected to whatever extent possible.
In the case that you are willing to take a look, I have pasted two links to images of some of the grand jury documents received, as well as a link to my latest op-ed for The Guardian which should provide some background as well as the nature of our intent. I hope to hear from you, and at any rate thanks once again for having taken the time to read my manuscript years back.
