Good man: it's all about networking with the right people while remaining conscious of the real people whose lives are the justification for the effort you're making and the prominence you're achieving..  That's a totally mangled sentence, but I'm sure you'll get it.  In a word, don't become a 'Ché'.  He looks great on those posters and tee-shirts but he was apparently all about Ché and much less, the downtrodden masses.

Cheers,

Thanks. As for thread-jacking, a lot of people get upset when a blog attacks them, as dod used to do, whereas I respond with attempts to make the blog even more about me in order to recruit any competent readers, increase brand recognition for my projects, and, in the case of Protein Wisdom... That's actually too long of a story to tell on a blackberry. Anywho, Michael Hastings managed to mention Anonymous on the bill maher show last night and was nice enough to introduce me to newsweek's reporter in tunisia with typically glowing praise; I'm going to put him in touch with anon operatives in country. More later, about to meet with an iranian.

Along with the estimable Bagua, I'm trying to watch your back without being too obvious about it on DoD.  You got in several choice comments today, which is encouraging.  There's a knee-jerk reaction on the part of some of the crew about thread-jacking, and I can see it from their point of view.  At the same time, what you're doing (promoting All-American Ideals such as democracy and freedom of expression and information ought to be totally in-line with the ideals of even your most beer-sodden critics.  Perhaps in some rare access of sobriety, it will suddenly dawn on them.  Then again, perhaps not.  No one ever promised us a rose garden.

As for your projects and a lot of the related stuff, I'm still connecting the dots and attempting to get the big picture. Perhaps I'm just a slow learner. Given my lack of mad skilz in most everything, I see my own role as one of communicating what you guys are doing each time I see the possibility of doing so.  Statistically speaking, I'm bound to bring some worthwhile elements into the mix.

In the meantime, keep on doing your thing, and thank you for keeping me in the loop.

Best,

J.

I'm bringing the people I've recruited most recently into irc.freenode.net, #projectpm, to help finish the third document, http://www.typewith.me/qdjqeFFu8O. Hopefully it will be ready to release tonight (although we will keep updating it as needed). It will be addressed to Tunisians and North Africans. I believe Michael Hastings mentioned us on Bill Maher on Friday but haven't seen it yet or spoken to him since right before he went on; at any rate, we've begun distributing "posters" on the internet to promote the guides and encourage people to start their own organizations.
