me: thanks, I asked the fellow what jurisdiction and will try to find someone with background in that
me: I am sending al-jazeera op-ed now
me: Kundra has done a great job so far
Clark: Of equal importance to whatever the applicable law might be (if there is any), is what is the remedy for violation of it? If it requires legal proceedings, that means delay and costs -- so maybe he should just find another provider of the services in dispute.
Clark: kind of hard to see immediately what 'it' refers to here: the greatest threat to revolution comes not from any state but rather from those who decry it without understanding it
Clark: last paragraph and last sentence are really great
Clark: is 'reasoned' an apt adjective for 'institutions'? It's more conventionally applied to arguments, written works.2nd paragraph, middle
Clark: Not sure if you were asking for comments or just sharing
me: hmm
me: yeah, that should be changed
me: I sent the new version to editor last night after he'd asked for a few more details
me: let me see if he asks for still more
me: at any rate, it's going to be translated a bunch anyway
me: already got a French translation
me: oh, Hastings will be on Bill Maher in a little while
me: good thing you found him to begin with
Clark: i dont think i can access that via the internet, and no TV
me: it's okay, we'll get a clip
Clark: great, share it widely
Clark: some have already began 1st paragrpaph next to last line -- begun?
me: will fix that too
me: or hopefully they've hired of the three competent working copy editors and will fix themselves
me: one of
Clark: frequented mostly towards -- unidiomatic , 3rd para, 4th line
Clark: looks like it was an incomplete revision, did u originally write 'aimed' or something?
Clark: missing quotation mark after 'warfare' 3rd para , middle
Clark: yeah, warfare needs to be in quotes, it is a crappy metaphor for all this, colors it with violence, when it is more analogous to 'organizing' in the labor movement of 100+ years ago, or civil disobedience of the suffragettes or the civil rights activists, or demonstrative protest activities such as marches
Clark: very good, tweet the fuck out of it when it appears
me: okay, I edited and sent in new version to Naz
