'House of Horrors' reveals grisly truth about abortion

By now you may have heard the gruesome story that broke earlier this week in Philadelphia. A grand jury indicted an abortionist named Kermit Gosnell and nine of his associates for running a clinic that district attorney Seth Williams called a "house of horrors."

Gosnell and his associates are charged with eight counts of murder for the deaths of seven babies and one adult woman. According to Williams, "A doctor who with scissors cuts into the necks, severing the spinal cords of living, breathing babies who would survive with proper medical attention commits murder under the law." He went on to add, "My comprehension of the English language can't adequately describe the barbaric nature of Dr. Gosnell."

January is Sanctity of Human Life month. Many pastors will be preaching and teaching on what this means. We, the Christian community, must continue to work and pray for the end of abortion in America. It is a sin against humanity and a sin against God Almighty. I can promise you that AFA will continue to stand up for the right to life for unborn babies as long as God allows us to serve Him in this capacity.

Take Action

1. Be Pro-Active! Email your governor and encourage enforcement of regulations regarding abortion clinics. Many clinics would close their doors if they were forced to abide by state health and environmental laws. Click here for an extensive look at your state's current abortion laws.

2. Pray! Pray for pregnant women who are considering having an abortion.

3. Support! Support local pro-life counseling centers. Volunteer a few hours each month to help reach out to pregnant women who may be considering aborting their unborn child.
