Anonymous: indeed me: odd since you're an internet figure Anonymous: i get through one every couple days Anonymous: i have very bad insomnia Anonymous: and early on i discovered that listening to audio books while trying to get to sleep helped a ton Anonymous: and so before bed every night i start the book off from the last place i remember Anonymous: and do the same again the next night Anonymous: then start the next book Anonymous: wash rinse repeat Anonymous: since i was 12 Anonymous: 22 good years of nearly every night me: wow me: that actually sounds like it works well Anonymous: it really does me: I actually have gotten out of reading over the past two years Anonymous: only takes a minute or two to figure out where i was Anonymous: then off to bed Anonymous: i can get anywhere from 2-5 hours into a book at night me: as I either write, read online, or play games like Morrowind Anonymous: but the last half at least is me nearly asleep Anonymous: so its way more useful than where i would be me: I used to be a big gamer but then I only had a netbook for a while Anonymous: without the book, i lay there for 8 hours wondering why i cant sleep me: Now I have this fucking boss gaming laptop Anonymous: yeah Anonymous: i used to game, a long time ago me: yeah, that's why I smoke weed and used to be a heroin addict Anonymous: i havent done anything in a good 8 years me: Hastings was also an addict Anonymous: the audio books really do the trick me: cocaine, alcohol and crack though Anonymous: they are my drug heh me: maybe I should start listening to audio books in the background Anonymous: im like the only person i know involved in this who wasnt an addict at one point in his life Anonymous: the only thing im addicted to is caffine me: well, I won't lie - if it weren't for me being a heroin addict up until recently, never would have started Project PM me: the sad truth is that heroin is helpful to any writer or anyone who is ambitious, at least as long as the money is there me: but I ran out of money me: and could have continued anyway but realized that Project PM was taking off and needed my consistent leadership Anonymous: the most ambitious people i know in my life were all 3 at one point in there life on heroin Anonymous: i find it strange as hell Anonymous: but it seems to be a running trend me: and I've got a lot of relatives who fought in military, including my brother, so it would have been dishonorable for me to chase pleasure over duty Anonymous: i've never even tasted alcohol me: yeah, heroin is common affliction among those who seek to change things Anonymous: let alone a drug me: jesus christ, really? me: never tasted alcohol?
