Thanks for your input, Seb. I should also have noted, in more specific response to the questions Todd posed, that neither wikileaks nor anyone else in the movement is advocating the release of all private information, but rather the leaking of information possessed by governments and those corporations, such as Shell, who collaborate with governments in an effort to pursue their own ends at the expense of the citizenry, as was the case in Nigeria. I have no hypothetics to present in return because I do not need them; the result of government classification and the crimes that are hidden in that process are there for all to see.

As much as I appreciate Todd's concerns, I think Robert got it right. 
"so yeah, wikileaks--it's pretty fucked up, but there isn't a better wikileaks around, and all the worst people on earth hate it.  that's enough for me." 
I hope we don't lose you, Todd, but I think Wikileaks presents a great opportunity that we can't afford to waste. Perhaps that makes your continued work with us even more necessary--every issue will need its advocates and its skeptics if we hope to make the appropriate decisions. 

If I may echo Robert again, it is an honor to be a part of this discussion.
