Sascha-
I'm sorry you did not receive a reply yet; I had forwarded your e-mail to a colleague in China as I thought perhaps he might have informed of you the project and afterwards I forwarded it to another colleague who usually sends a quick FAQ to respondents after which I write back to them personally, but in this case you fell through the cracks due to all the traveling we have been doing this month. Of course you are more than qualified to participate in the sci-journalism program and I'd be honored to have you work with us in a higher and more central capacity as well, assuming that you have the time to do so. As for the crack about my views on valid skepticism and your mention of the Discovery Institute, I should note that I am a pretty orthodox skeptic who writes a monthly column for the Skeptical Inquirer in addition to my other work along those lines; I merely disagree with the manner in which skepticism is misused to dismiss certain possibilities regarding private human collaboration, and I'd be happy to explain to you why if you'd like. As for the Discovery Institute, I have been at odds with the organization since I wrote a book about them and Dembski when I was 23, afterwards getting into several feuds with Dembski and his hangers-on, as may be seen with a quick Google search. So perhaps you and I can start over and get down to business since we share at least a few common goals?

Didn't get any reaction to my first mail. Is there a problem that I do not know about here? Something to do with what is worth the attention of "true" skepticism? Maybe the discovery institute should start an alternative project PM?
