I submitted the grant proposal today for the initial phase of Praxis, which will be the establishment of a research/literature network and cache as the matrix for four nodes (in Malawi, Ghana, Ethiopia, and South Africa). I have yet to make a good contact in Ethiopia. In Ghana a highschool friend directing an orphanage will serve as local resource until I can establish relations w/ the university. Primary contact in Malawi, until I arrive, is Dr. Jonathan Cullman, of Wellcome, at the the Uni of Malawai in Lilongwe. In South Africa we will be partnering with the CSSR (center for social science research).
