Unblocked for you, Sundeep. Missed you in IRC tonight! The big updates:1) After reflecting on Barrett's explanation on a community information sharing architecture, I offered a feature video of open source Drupal Commons http://acquia.com/resources/acquia-tv/features-drupal-commons . It's easy to install and set up, and it's about as feature complete as we could ask for. There are alternatives (like Redmine, or Open Atrium), but they tend to be more project management oriented. For amorphous "form a community, share information, see what other people in your groups are doing, accomplish something in the world", Drupal Commons is a pretty awesome fit.2) I'm building a pre-alpha prototype of the Newswire, trying to ensure that all of our "tweaking points" are easily configurable. Here's a status report: http://projectpm.singingsites.com/wiki/newswire-pre-alpha . I plan to put it somewhere public for people's review this weekend.Talk to you soonC

Can someone activate my account on the site? It won't let me access the log without having an account.

I will not be able to attend the meeting on Wednesday this week, I'll check the logs after that.

I'm currently in IRC (early) but to forewarn everyone while Tim plans to start drinking by 4, I've decided to start drinking last night and into this morning. Accordingly, my head hurts. On Fri, Dec 10, 2010 at 7:30 PM, Tim Ellis <dynamic@nocturnalcommissions.com> wrote:Alright, 2 PM on Saturday it is.
Clark, Sundeep, I'll send you both saved transcripts when it is over. You can then use this thread with "reply all" to add your comments at your earliest convenience.
If any of you think of anyone else you'd like to have invited to the meeting just let them know about it. I do however think keeping it fairly small will facilitate a more targeted discussion.
We will be going over ideas for maintaining privacy, what statistics we will need to gather and methods for doing so, and the framework for inviting new members.
Anything off of those topics that may come up, we can take note of for a future meeting.
This is a fair bit to bite off so I'm keeping two hours clear for this meeting, though of course it is quite likely to require less time than that.
At any rate I start drinking by 4 so that's a pretty clear-cut deadline.

Hello all,
At our Wednesday meeting, we determined that it would be useful to set aside time to specifically discuss our methods for invitation of new members, privacy concerns, and statistics gathering, outside of the confines of the weekly steering meeting.
Our meetings are typically in the evening (7 PM Eastern Time) but some of us are more flexible than others. Would a meeting this weekend fit for everyone? Perhaps Saturday or Sunday afternoon, Eastern time?
Cheers!
