That is completely cool! Please tell him, though I doubt he'll be surprised, that I'm a fan of his work. As for a book, shit, give me your address and I'll get one out to you -- read it when you can, I know you're busy.

Also, sorry to keep bothering you, but just wanted to let you know that "Anonymous" fellow who launched Chanology also loves your books, as he just noted to me in a discussion of PM and my book, so I told him I'd let you know. Apparently I've really got to read these things; I'll go by the Borders tomorrow.

Good, I look forward to it. Also, wanted you to see this, and let me know if you know anyone who might be interested in working with Dr. Lipp's project or on my end from PM. http://www.ordinary-gentlemen.com/2010/12/first-praxis-information-based-developmental-health-project-launched-by-cambridge-researcher/

Heh. That's a good idea -- though what I'm currently planning is a blog post and my own short story demonstrating who the real villains are...

That's fucking weird. Maybe you should write a sort of parody in which he is even greater villain and all the governments are sterling examples of ethical pursuit of truth.

Sounds good, and thanks for the update.
BTW, here's an interesting development: the WSJ commissions fiction involving WikiLeaks from several thriller writers, all of whom turn in short stories in which WL is the villain.
We live in strange times.

I should have mentioned that the reason that I thought of bringing you on board is because Erik wants to shake things up at the site and asked me about how we could implement some sort of structural changes, and I figured a new voice would help, too. As per below, he wants to hold off on bringing on anyone else until they've gotten those changes designed and put up, at which point he'd love to have you on. So he'll get back to you probably in the next couple of months.

Barrett,
Forgot to reply to this. That's fine that you brought it up with him. I think for now, until we can hammer out the structural issue, we'll hold off bringing anyone else aboard. Nothing against Barry at all, who I think would be excellent. Once we've worked this out, we'll definitely extend the invitation.
Cheers

I hope you don't mind, but yesterday I asked Eisler if he would be interested in contributing to the League assuming that you decide that his writings are compatible with what you're going for. He said he would love to do so but absolutely understands if you decide that it's not a good fit. Just let me know if and when you make a decision and I'll let him know in turn, or of course I can give you his e-mail address if you'd like to talk to him yourself.
