3:28 PM Andrew: have you played civ 5?
3:30 PM me: no, but I've been hearing some terrible things about it that I think are probably accurate
Andrew: i heard its A) slow and B) simplified
im not worried about slow, i have a fast fast machine
btw, im looking for one for oyu right now
3:31 PM me: apparently it is not at all well programmed in terms of running with any efficiency
I was just reading about it on reddit yesterday
 Andrew: yeah, i heard
  thats fine though
me: dude, just get Victoria 2
 Andrew: dude
  mac
 me: ah-so
Victoria one is out for Mac
3:32 PM I think
 Andrew: not on steam
 me: gamersagte
  gamersgate, rather
  it's very convenient, too
  and the game is awesome
nor is it something that necessarily takes more time than civilization
3:33 PM Andrew: this one is a little pricey but real nice machine
  http://www.dell.com/us/eep/p/alienware-m15x/pd
3:34 PM this one is nice and cheaper but huge
  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834214050&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-Notebooks-_-Toshiba-_-34214050&AID=10440897&PID=4013173&SID=
  184 inch screen
  18.4, rather
3:35 PM me: that would keep me pretty current in terms of being able to play most things, eh?
 Andrew: i mean
  the range is large
you will be able to play all things now, perhaps not at max graphics
3:36 PM me: that's good enough for me
 Andrew: imo
me: I'll go with that if you think it's a good buy
Andrew: screen size is not super important
 me: I mean its memory
  plus video card
Andrew: in terms of performance, these machines are powerful enough to run anything on the markey today
 me: sweet
  that's perfect
Andrew: however, they are large machines
3:37 PM and heavy
 me: that's fine
Andrew: Im looking for a smaller one
i mean, larger than any computer you ever owned
  or rather
me: well, I'm willing to get a larger one if its cheaper
Andrew: the toshiba is larger and thicker than the 17inch asus you had at park st.
the dell is smaller, but thicker
 me: that's fine
 Andrew: ok
3:39 PM the toshiba is the more powerful machine
  also cheaper
but the build quality is poorer
3:40 PM it will be easier to break/keyboard and trackpad wlll be worse/will feel flimsier
and, seeing as how these are both very powerful machines, build quality should matter
me: well, whatever you suggest, I'll take
Andrew: ok, give me a few minuets
me: I'm going to head outside for a bit but I'll be around afterwards
3:41 PM Andrew: k
