Very well, I will address your controversial Sucking Barrett's Cock argument.

It was grey because I was signed off; went for a little walk to get the circulation going or whatever walking does.

Yes, we do need more scientists; see who you can bring in. YOU'RE top heavy.

I have put myself right out there and virtually said I want to suck you off on the Gentlemen website. (not do it on the actual website because that is not even real, but I wrote it and the little devil in my fingers made me post it before I could think about it) You have to reply or I look like a desperate woman.

I am a desperate woman but that is beside the point. Also if it embarrasses you I am sorry, but then again, I'm not really because I want you to fuck me. So if it makes you mad maybe you will fuck me harder. Win win for me.

Also Im going to try to recruit more scientists as we need a lot more. We're top; heavy with writers.

Also your thing has gone grey and mine is a green dot again. Gmail is fucking with me. KILL it.

Also I am now filled with images of you sucking my nipples.

Very good, I'll go ahead and pair these people up. I had a particularly intricate masturbation session last night in which I did my best to visualize the act of sucking your tits.

I think it would be fine if you were to try to pair me up with someone with complementary interests or needs. I think I could help someone with scientific knowledge but who needs help on the writing end, or I could help as an editor or simply second set of eyes for  someone weaker in the science but who needs or wants to write something on science. I would be glad to look over your spreadsheet as well.

I'll go ahead and put this down into the spreadsheet. I think you could probably serve as either a writer or a scientific consultant - although several of the latter are working scientists or otherwise credentialed in that regard, we're not at all opposed to using those who have obtained a degree of scientific literacy by whatever means, as we could pair you with a freelancer with no particular knowledge of science and your relative expertise would still be of assistance in getting more and better science articles written and published.

I'm going to share with you our spreadsheet of participants and give you a chance to look it over and see if there's anyone you might want to work with (we'll also hopefully be adding short bios soon so that everyone can get a better sense of everyone else's background). Otherwise, give me the word and I'll go ahead and introduce you to someone with complementary interests and the two of you can go from there. Let me know if that sounds like it would work for you.

For how I could serve best, it perhaps depends on how you define “writer” and “scientific consultant to a writer”. I can see myself contributing in the following ways:

If you have people who have lots of knowledge on a scientific topic and a need or desire to write something on that topic, I can serve as either a writer to whom they supply the rough content or as an editor to whom they supply fairly workable drafts. In this case, I would be most helpful if the writing is intended for a general or layperson audience. I’ve done a small amount of editing for highly technical writing (such as a chemical engineering thesis), but I don’t think I’m as interested in contributing that way. I’m more interested in helping get better information to the general public.

I don’t know that I could serve as a scientific consultant to a writer since my actual school education has not been in science all that much. However, I consider myself a decent researcher in terms of checking information and am relatively comfortable (for a layperson) with a wide range of scientific or technical topics.

If I’m helping as an editor, I would be comfortable on a wider variety of topics than just the climate science and evolution/biology ones I mentioned earlier. You could add to this list environmental issues in general, and anthropology/archaeology topics.

Hi, Mark-

Thanks for getting in touch. I'll go ahead and put you in our database of science/journalism project contributors. Are you interested in serving as a writer or a scientific consultant to a writer? Either way, I'll try to pair you up with someone with complementary interest in either biology/evolution or climate science; let me know if there are any other areas you have interest or expertise in as well.

Also, if you'd like to get further involved in Project PM or just want to learn more about what we're doing, let me know and I'll send you some further documentation.

I’d like to throw my hat into the ring as someone interested in helping on this project. I’m not sure how much or to what extent I can contribute, but I do have some skills and interests that apply. Whether I have the right skills you’re looking for or whether I have enough time might be another matter.

I’m currently working as a technical writer in the software industry. My education includes a B. A. and Ph. D. in English. I was an assistant professor for  5 years at a 4-year college, teaching research paper writing and introductory literature courses. I follow a couple of science topics very closely – climate science and evolution (and their battles against doubters). You can see a sample of my own writing  by searching for diaries by “marcellus” at Daily Kos.

If there might be a role for me, please don’t hesitate to contact me at mark.ludwig@us.lawson.com<mailto:mark.ludwig@us.lawson.com>.
