Thanks for exposing C. Krauthammer for the smug prick that he is.  I believe that his type of "journalism" is the cause of and gives credibility to - the continuance of the greatest and most pervasively successful "psyops" campaign in the history of modern (political) warfare. You are probably aware that "psyops" is the acronym for the military term, "psychological operations," used by the CIA, the military, and others as the technique for controlling populations - often used against those giving safe harbor to enemy combatants.

I credit Dick Cheney and others (the hapless studge, George Bush, II)  for making it the MO of pushing onto the general public the most fraudulent political philosophies of all time, Reaganomics, and Reaganism  and a resulting bumper-sticker consciousness.

People think that Krauthammer's arrogance is cute - and when he exposes weakness in others (yes, Obama, I admit) - the well-conditioned reactionary public - (often Republicans - many times ignorant hapless victims, themselves) - pile on to join the fray (read Bageant's Deer Hunting with Jesus for an expose of this large sub-group).

I have a bad habit of remembering when I have been offended.  Years ago Krauthammer wrote a cruel article about how Gulf War Syndrome was a catch-all excuse veterans were using to their advantage.  I have a special    place for people who question the motives of our fighting men and women and who refuse to acknowledge abusiveness.
