I have to go to dinner at my dad's place now. I am going to regale my little step-brother with Dwarf Fortress. At a party I attended with my dad and the new wife and the kid I organized a group of a dozen children into a massive and complex role-playing game with hit points, customizable characters (they could be thieves, warriors, or magicians, and the latter could choose from a several spells, a couple other kids were evil goblins whereas I was always some major wizard antagonist they had to kill with their soccer balls/fire bolts and swords and whatnot). No one entertains kids better than I do.
