Two emendations on this note:

(1) Amity Hall, we have been told, is located at 80 West 3rd Street, not the middle of the Hudson River.
(2) No gifts, please. If you're in a giving mood, please donate on our behalf to The Trevor Project, a group that fights gay teen suicide.

Let us know if you're coming, and see you Saturday!

In November 1980, the American people, tired of a stagnant economy, embarrassed by their country's failure to contain a crisis in the Middle East, and frustrated with their cerebral, cautiously liberal president, swept the Democrats out of Washington. And from their bassinets in New Orleans and Boston, Adam Kushner and Ben Casselman looked up at their nurses and said, "None of this would have happened if the Dems had replaced Carter with Teddy on the ticket."

On Saturday, Nov. 13, come celebrate three decades of half-baked political analysis (not to mention 10 years of overwrought birthday-party invites) as these two bid farewell to their 20s and Adam bids farewell to New York. Unlike the 1980 edition, there'll be plenty of beer on hand to drown your sorrows or celebrate your victory, depending on your politics. Unlike the 2000 edition, you won't have to get to the West End before they start carding. Let us know if you're coming.
