<a href="#comment-78481" rel="nofollow">@Mark Thompson</a>, I agree on the Senate side.  Sitting here it just feels like this is where the main floodtide came ashore.  Russ seriously never had a shot since Sept.  It's just the essence of what happened last night - this place is emblematic of the entire dynamic, it seems like.  Last night wouldn't-a been last night otherwise.   Huge overall state-wide voting turnover in two years, etc.  But I'm probably guilty of  location-centrism.  I don't know what to say about Reid: the power of machine politics.
