Barret-

Thanks!
If you thought the gravity toy was nifty, you've gotta check this out this program I found yesterday: http://universesandbox.com/ . Windows only, but holy crap is it awesome! If that doesn't kill all of your upcoming free time, I also have a post on another website (that is much less frequently updated, as of now) that I run that is tangentially related to science journalism, you can check it out here: http://www.thehumoreffect.com/?p=14 . It's the first part of a piece I wrote called "So Einstein and Tesla walk into a bar..." I'm downloading mIRC now, I'll be sure to pop on there when I get a chance!

Your blog really is nifty, and I'm going to start linking to it occasionally from Ordinary Gentlemen and other outlets for which I write - the gravity toy first. You should come check out our IRC channel at some point, I imagine you'll enjoy talking to some of our other participants.

Seb,

Thanks for the specifics, I have annotated our spreadsheet to reflect those interests.

Question, would you also be interested in in helping to informally administer this effort (The Science Journalism Project)?  It would involve matching up people, following up on activities that were started but not yet completed, keeping records, making sure Barrett, I and others are responsive when necessary, being a source of ideas?

Loved your blog, I have already had to force myself to stop playing with the gravity toy.

Clark

Thanks!

I'm interested in pretty much everything! I really love astronomy, physics, advances in techonology in general, and all sorts of medical topics (I'm a pediatric cancer survivor with type 1 diabetes, Chron's Disease, kidney stones, and arthritis, so I've got some intimate knowledge of those, haha). If you're interested, I run a "blog" at www.weareinthefuture.com . I say "blog" because I mostly just post links to the latest (awesome) developments in science, without much commentary.
