Yo yo-

I've read the oil and gas teaser and will figure out how best to proceed. Send along that other info whenever, and in the meantime I'll share with you some Google Docs with more info on who we have and what we're doing. I just launched the Science Journalism Improvement Program yesterday and we've recruited about 20 people for that and will get a few more but send me contact info for any writers or scientists/science-dependent practitioner you know who would be candidates for this.

At some point, you really need to go to our IRC channel and talk a bit to the participants you find there; there are about a dozen guys with whom I work with most and who are themselves in charge of various aspects of the project, and at least two or three of them are usually in there most evenings. You'll quickly get a sense of what motivates them to do this as well as the various emphases of the project.

Barrett,

I have attached a teaser on the Natural gas deal that we are working on. Keep it confidential for now, but we will need some additional expertise going forward.

Will get you a rundown of the current projects in the hopper and possible articles that might be helpful and interesting to deal with the google issues surrounding my name.

Also, for the Africa project, there are several things that have come to mind and I will get those to you directly in a separate email.

See you when we get back from China.

Best,

Lou
