I guess two areas I'm particularly interested in are evolutionary biology and neurology.  I can't claim expertise in either field, but I know enough to talk about those subjects, and I'd love to learn more about both.

Great, I'll do that this weekend. Do you have any particular scientific discipline in which you have particular interest? We've got scientists in all colors and flavors.

Mr B Brown,

Yeah, I'd love to work with one of your scientists.  Why don't you throw one of the good ones at me, and when I get back home -- I'm doing shows in Minneapolis with Kilstein right now -- I can get to work on it.

Senor Knefel-

The science journalism project I mentioned to you a while back was launched yesterday, and since then we've recruited about two dozen scientists, some of whom have extraordinary backgrounds. We only have five or six good writers at this point (although that will probably change when we post on craigslist's "writing gigs" section, which I don't look forward to), so if you'd still be interested in writing science pieces for sale to mainstream publications, let me know and I can either assign you one of the better scientists or I can share our Google doc listing all of them and their areas of expertise and you can pick one yourself.

Here's a link to the announcement which includes more details on how this works and why we've decided to do it; get back to me if you'd like to proceed.
