Hello again, Barrett. Sorry for my slow response to your e-mail to me. Thank you for responding. I am sorry to here of the demise of True/Slant; so far as it concerns my ability to read and keep up with your contributions. You are very skilled in explaining things that very few people ever take the time for, even when necessary. I think I do the same thing, and that is why most people that I try to speak to will not and cannot listen for long. It's their short-attention span culture. In regarding any skill I may have in organizing information, I would hate to give any inaccurate impressions. Conversely, I would hate to sell myself short. But by all means, please ask or suggest anything that you feel I could help with. I have got myself enrolled in a G-MAIL account as encouraged by you (and Clark Robinson from Chicago). However, I have yet to get involved, or in or on to the PROJECT PM. Admittedly because I haven't made an effort, and I am unsure where to go within the G-MAIL or PROJECT PM. Anyway, if you wouldn't mind, and if it is at all possible, could you please advise me further of some of the ins-and-outs. I am, as of now, a "displaced worker" and "returning student". Like all of my fellow citizens, I do claim to be busy, but not as busy as most people. By that I mean, I am very interested in anything you would involve me in with PROJECT PM to the best of my abilities and time. I apologize if my answers seem ambiguous and non-committal, but that is my cautious, considered nature. Please do not hesitate to call or e-mail me for any further guidance or advice regarding the aforementioned. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. True/Slant has folded and I'm now back to writing more for print magazines. Meanwhile, we've gotten Project PM off the ground and are launching a couple of programs.
I seem to recall that you might have some particular talent for organizing information and perhaps figuring out solutions to related problems. Let me know if that's pretty much correct, as I'd like to bring you in on an e-mail list discussion that will begin fairly soon and which will concern how we can devise methods by which our participants can collaborate using wikis, shared Google documents, and the like.
