Hi, Liz-

Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in Project PM. I've pasted below a general description of the software that we're building to accompany a network of bloggers, and which we will also use to help coordinate our 75 or so participants who aren't bloggers but who possess a variety of skill sets. Aside from helping us in our media reform efforts, those participants are also working on a couple of other initial sub-projects that involve some of the same concepts we're using in the realm of media, such as improving the efficiency of information flow. The two sub-projects we're currently launching are the Africa Development Program and the Science Journalism Improvement Program; we'll be launching other programs over the next couple of months as well, including one by which we'll offer services to low-level political campaigns for office seekers that strike us as reasonable and technocratic.

My colleague Clark Robinson will get in touch with you soon to get a sense of your background and skills so that we can figure out how you could best get involved. Let me know if you have any questions at this point; you can also log on to our new IRC channel at irc.freenode.net #projectpm (if you need help signing on, I can send you a tutorial written by one of our participants). You can also Google "Project PM" to find some scattered articles providing additional details on what we've been up to since we started up over the summer.

I've attached a PDF file of my upcoming book, which includes more information on the broken system of commentary in this country; the last chapter in particular is a sort of treatise on Project PM. Sorry in advance for the typos; I don't have a copy of the most recent edited manuscript yet.
