This
is not about supporting or not supporting the “scientific-minded”
It is about how failure to recognize our enemies who support religious arguments
over reality based analysis will put us behind the rest of the reality based
world. Of course we only support Atheist candidates or those who support the
civil rights of Atheists. That is not even a question here. The goal here is to
provide our community with a motivation to get involved.

We support candidates who defend the Establishment
Clause and the civil rights of Atheists. Are we going to support
candidates who are "scientific-minded" people? Should this be a
criteria for EV?
What if a candidate is "scientific" but
does not support the Establishment Clause or the civil rights of Atheists?
It's a possibility.
