Dear Conservative Friend:

The American Spectator and the American Spectator Foundation are unique and vital parts of our movement.

Many conservative writers do an excellent job of detailing the failures of liberalism. But only a handful – and none better than Bob Tyrrell and his crew at The American Spectator – capture the essence of being a conservative.

Like me, they understand what a unique privilege and honor it is to call yourself a conservative. We are so unlike the left. When we look out over the country, we see Americans. We see human beings. We don't see groups. We don't see victims.

What we see – what Bob and the writers at The American Spectator see – is potential. The vast potential of individual Americans, unhindered by oppressive government, maximized by the power of freedom.

But we desperately need the unique, clear voice of The American Spectator and The American Spectator Foundation to help us find the way.

Every month, every issue, is an inspiration to me and to thousands of conservatives who are making a difference. They are people like you and me - people who think like we do about how to advance our cause! Every month is a revelation of liberal failure and mischief.

But there's more. In addition to publishing the magazine, The American Spectator Foundation is training, encouraging and nurturing a whole new generation of conservative journalists.

I can't think of any program more vital to the long-term success of our cause.

Please – I ask you to support the American Spectator Foundation as generously as you can.

I want our conservative ideals to thrive and prevail. I want to end the Obama experiment with socialism. I know you do, too.

Supporting the folks at The American Spectator is an excellent way to start.

Thank you,
Jim DeMint

P.S. Bob tells me that right now, your gift would count for double because one TASF donor has pledged to match gifts dollar for dollar all month long! Please help TASF make the most of this generous opportunity by making an online donation now!
