Good morning, Mr. Brown.

My name is Gene Oakes and I am the Senior Probation Officer with the Fugitive Unit of the Travis County Adult Probation Department. Your case has been assigned to me since you failed to complete your probation term for the DWI you were convicted of on August 28, 2003. There is currently an active warrant out for your arrest. Please keep in mind that pending probation cases and the active warrants which accompany them remain active indefinitely. This may not have caused you any problems yet, but it certainly could, especially if you are ever stopped by law enforcement in Texas. My recommendation is to contact me immediately. If you take care of your unfinished business on your probation case the court will probably go ahead and dispose of your case.

You may call me at 512-854-3528. Please reference cause number 640851. My office hours are 6:30 AM until 12:30 PM, Central time, Monday through Thursday.

I hope to hear from you soon.
