Finished yer book
Insomuch as that I appreciate your comments, thanks. I'm afraid that "insomuch" is one of the few vices I have left.
Glad you noticed how much I had to force in the mccain chapter. Publisher fought me on that.
My uncle actually told me about the greek essay you mention when I was a kid and the implications interested me quite a bit. I've never actually read it but will do so.
If you want, give me a ring and we can discuss further. I'm still jotting down notes on how a web show would best be approached.

Subject: Finished yer book
Let’s start from the end:
Your epilogue is right on the money. It’s like you’ve been listening to me rant to my friends over the past 5 years. Around that time I started saying to people “there are two kinds of people, and yes, I know that this is a trite and stupid way of looking at things [I talk the way you write, for real], but still, there really are this time: there are people that ask, and people who have already looked up the answer on google.”
There’s also a great essay that you may have come across, possibly by telemachus but I don’t remember, about how this new writing technology is ruining everyone in greece because people USED to be able to remember lots of stuff but NOW they can’t. It was like the first ever complaint about technology.
You are smarter than your editor. I can tell.
Admit it.
Insomuch as one is so much used to in so many ways using insomuch, as one so much might, you use insomuch too much. Much much much much much. Strange word. Find All and Replace would be my suggestion.
Overall, I give the book 5 stars out of a possible 3 because you hit high notes so high won’t never come down FREEBASE.
I like how you managed to take a quixotic campaign against mccain and make it seem incredibly relevant to your point. That was some good stuff, and I even believed it. Skills.
I really do think there’s a show here in all of this. Mind is buzzing on how.
I’ll send you the script that we are shooting tomorrow later—I just took what you wrote and did a quick polish. It should be incendiary and funny all at once.
