http://www.scribemedia.org/2010/06/17/san-francisco-postcard-from-the-fjp/
i've begun interviewing people in new york for it (this is my home base), and hope to schedule an on-camera interview with you in the upcoming weeks.
the documentary focuses on four core themes:
journalism education
journalism practice
journalism business models
journalism and democracy
more information about these themes and the general project scope can be found in this short treatment (pdf):
http://scribecast.s3.amazonaws.com/FutureJournalismProject/FutureJournalism-scribemedia.pdf
please let me know if you'd be interested in participating and if so, when might be a good time to get together.
i'd love to interview you about the topics above that you feel comfortable discussing, particularly your experience with startups such as true/slant and bushwickbk, and your ideas about contemporary punditry.
many thanks.
~michael
