I would want to read ChipIn's documents to see if there are any differences i.e. If you don't reach your goal with ChipIn do you still get the money?

I did a quick Google and came across the following which I thought was interesting: http://www.crunchbase.com/company/chipin

I'll have to take a look at the Build Custom Widget site more closely.

I started noticing these ChipIn widgets since some of them have a 'copy' feature, and Scott and I have been discussing whether software can be obtained from the Project PM widget (vs. a Project PM website).  More info:

It also occurs to me that once we have heard back from a programmer and have an how much it may cost to get the widget built, we are in a better position to ask for donations than previously.  I felt the less persuasive part of our KickStarter proposal was what exactly the money was for.  We could also consider ChipIn.

P.S. Hey, Scott, check out this link, is there anything here of interest to us?  http://www.kickapps.com/offers/build-custom-widgets?gclid=COSf2f_ugaMCFQpknAodwUQOfg  This is not open source, so I kind of doubt it, but check my thinking.
