I agree with having them involved and with your assessments of them; I'll get in touch with both of them soon regarding this.

By the way, one of the reasons I think Breslin might be helpful for a newsletter is that he's a graphic designer and he might be better able than some of us to use whatever graphic tools are available for Gmail to make a nice template, formatting and color scheme for the newsletter.  The reason I suggested Havoth is she seemed like she wants to write stuff--she sent you a sample of something she had posted--and she seemed to be someone not given to transitory enthusiasms.  So if they want to be co-editors or some other split arrangement, that would be ok too.  I think they are more likely to agree if the proposal comes directly from you. I will help them with first issue, for instance, I will write an interview with you about the book coming out, I will send you a longish list of questions and you can answer the ones you want to answer and so on.  I also just told Kim Lancaster about the newsletter and suggested he could submit ideas about things people might want to read, etc.

I'm not sure yet. I think he might be best utilized on something less deadline-oriented and more detail-oriented. I was thinking we could run some draft of the PUSH documentation by him and see what input he might have, and then from that we can gauge  his tendencies and abilities a bit better.

Would Matt Palmer be a good person for this workgroup?

This is perfect. I have to write to Greenwald and a couple other people and handle some other stuff but will try to think up others to be employed in the newsletter sub-group and move on this quickly (for once).
