Sorry, my address is actually BarrettBrown@hushmail.com.

Just went on Russia Today to discuss journalism and whatnot and they ran a clip of Laura Logan. I explained some things to them and then started talking about 1999 Russian apartment bombings and how they were clearly an FSB operation but then they "ran out of time," lol. Russia Today is Kremlin-backed, so that makes it funnier, at least to me.

Also, Juan Cole just got back to me and joined up with PM for certain. Also talked to Andrew Sullivan a bit more, as well as Robert Green, the producer fellow with the money; seems he and his wife, a photographer for The Atlantic, had a run-in with him a couple years back but then they made up, really like the fellow (and rightly so). I'll tell you the story some time, it's pretty amusing and involves Jeffrey Goldberg being a douchebag.

Have also made contact with an old associate who's involved in some of the more interesting internet dynamics I discussed with you on the phone several months ago; he's assembling a team for us. Will explain further later.

Start by setting up hushmail account. I'm at barrett.brown33@hushmail.com. I have someone who can give us something better presently, an old friend of mine who, seriously, has a tattoo of an illegal encryption code.

Yes, I have been thinking about upping my security via phone and email. Any advice would be very helpful

That's a pretty transparently dishonest reading of your article, to claim it's just about McChrystal and his aides making fun of Joe Biden. Luckily that guy's got it covered.

Someone else seems to have already published that DoD memo online; anyway, in the future, we might want to speak via a more secure medium, such as one that doesn't roll over for the Chinese upon request, for instance. I'm about to pull a prank on the Kremlin, for instance, and you've already gotten some attention from high quarters. I have a couple of friends who are hackers and unfortunately it is not at all difficult for even a private individual to break into a gmail account. I will give you new e-mail contact info when we next talk on the phone.
