I've only spoken with Cara very briefly on a few occasions and don't know much about how they go about selecting posts, as I don't often deal with the editors directly, so I'm afraid I don't have any helpful tips for you.

Hi Barrett,
Cara passed on my post and Rebecca's, too. She was nice, but didn't offer any feedback. I sent her this note to ask if she can offer tips. I don't want to bother her, so I don't plan to send another such note. HOWEVER, I would love to know what selection criteria for choosing bloggers. What does it take to get to write for Huffington Post?
Thanks!
Anna

Hi Cara,
I can't resist asking again what criteria Huffington Post uses to select bloggers. I run a PR and consulting firm called EarthPeople. I'm interested in helping my clients (and myself!) build a platform for thought leadership.
I noticed that some of your contributors are people I've featured in my book. Jean-Charles Boisset, for example. I visited his vineyard in Sonoma to cover sustainable winemaking. I'm glad to see him contributing.
I sincerely appreciate ANY pointers you can give me. Thanks in advance for your time.
Anna
