Understood. The main purpose of the book was to concentrate mostly on the more prominent columnists, the ones who have inexplicably been given direct and extraordinary influence over the national conversation.

Emran-

To some extent, yes; in addition to the chapter on Friedman, there is
another chapter on Richard Cohen of the Washington Post. Other than that, I
mostly go after Krauthammer, William Bennett, and a fellow named Robert
Stacy McCain, with a few others thrown in here and there but to much lesser
extents.

Incidentally, I was not able to use all of my notes on Friedman due to
length. I will have to write another book, I guess.
