I hate to mention them but I think of Paul Berman and to a lesser extent
George Packer but here I go both ways (sometimes I cut him some slack since
he's a redsox fan in NYC). I guess the category would be establishment
liberal internationalist who made common cause with the neooons.

To some extent, yes; in addition to the chapter on Friedman, there is
another chapter on Richard Cohen of the Washington Post. Other than that, I
mostly go after Krauthammer, William Bennett, and a fellow named Robert
Stacy McCain, with a few others thrown in here and there but to much lesser
extents.
Incidentally, I was not able to use all of my notes on Friedman due to
length. I will have to write another book, I guess.
