Feel free to give me a call if you'd like some advice on the matter, I'm already typed out today.

Hi Barrett,
I enjoyed your recent article in Vanity Fair. I especially liked the way you used facts to support your defense of Michael Hastings's article. It was refreshing to read.
I'm a college student and I'm interested in journalism. I was wondering if you could spare a minute and offer any insight into how someone can get started in journalism. Essentially, where do you begin? Do you have any suggestions? Is having a BA or MA in journalism really needed or is it common to find among peers?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and again, congratulations on the article.
