Michael Hastings, who wrote the McChrystal story for Rolling Stone and who is still in Afghanistan (he's only been there for two months, incidentally, though already seems to have changed the course of the war), happens to be a friend of mine, as well as a participant in Project PM (alluded to in the Charles Johnson piece I did for you); he also blurbed my upcoming book.
