Would it be possible for me to make a couple of final tweaks to the manuscript before the final version goes to press (not for the galley copies, but the regular ones for sale)? My damned mom wants me to take out a paragraph that might be insulting to her new semi-wealthy husband.

Also, I'm going to go down to Texas for about a month a half next week but will return by August so I'll be available for any promotional stuff for the book launch. If you want to schedule anything for early August, such as local media appearances in Dallas or Austin or wherever else, let me know. The friend I'll be staying with is a producer at an NBC affiliate that serves East Texas and Louisiana, so he'll be able to arrange for morning show appearances down there. Let me know what you'll be planning so that I can coordinate media on my end as well.
