I came home today to find the cops outside my apartment with a young woman whom they believed had been burglarized by the same fellow who stole my laptop; she recognized him from the photo. The thief had come into her place at noon, told her she was friends with her roommate, and started putting electronics into a bag he had brought with him. When she objected, he became somewhat aggressive. The apartment in question is on Johnson, just a few blocks away from my place on Knickerbocker. So the thief, it seems, is indeed local, and he's not done fucking up the careers of freelancers quite yet. If you see him, call the cops. If you know him, e-mail me. INVADERS MUST DIE!
