me: howdy
me: did you happen to hear the conference call today?
Mark: i did not
me: I missed it
Mark: i was at work, sadly
me: word. I did get forwarded this brief interview with Dvorkin, looks like we might be safe as they're going to be axing non-political contributors mostly
me: anywho
me: I'll get back to you further on Project PM soon, we're making some big moves on a number of things, including going after grant money
Mark: that's great
Mark: yeah, this true/slant sale stuff sort of came out of left field for me
Mark: i try to stay plugged in, but i'll admit i've done a pretty poor job of it recently
me: additionally, if you know anyone else who's pretty knowledgeable and would be interested in helping us to overthrow a bunch of stuff, have them e-mail me
me: we've got about 80 participants so far, want to have more
me: they don't need to be media, any skill set is helpful
Mark: a few spring to mind, i'll try to reach out to them
me: great, thanks
me: also
me: the manifesto will be going up at Vanity Fair or Wired, depending, within a couple weeks; this will provide a more concise and comprehensive description of what we're about
me: when it goes up, I'm hoping to get our blogger participants to link to it or excerpt it in order to generate as much interest as possible
me: also, it will be a good starting point to which to direct anyone whom you think might be interested
me: will keep you updated
Mark: great man
Mark: sounds like this could be a lot of fun
Mark: and anything that sticks it to the hacks in the mainstream media
Mark: is good in my book
me: yeah, I'm actually pretty surprised at how many great people we've gotten on board already
me: I can guarantee that we'll have an impact
