Project sounds good—shockingly, the WH's fifteen-minute FOX shutout didn't really seem to do the trick.

Staying in Bushwick sounds like a smart decision. I attempted to head out briefly last and was nearly killed by the wind.

How'd your night end up?

Getting drunk with my friend and his girlfriend in Bushwick. I don't really go out anymore.

Shame about TNR's stinginess. I remember they pay something like 15 cents a word anyway. I used to be a heroin addict myself; really pumped out the Romanticism back then.

The project is overtly a media reform effort, covertly several other things. I announced it in Vanity Fair about three months ago and have since been recruiting. Info can be found by Googling Project PM, though I'd be happy to tell you more about it.

Sounds cool, what's the project about?

Thanks, yeah. I like TNR too. Sadly, they wouldn't comp any opium for the review. I attribute that to tough times for magazines.

Avoiding the wind tonight?

Not often, luckily, but been doing more media appearances lately largely in conjunction with a project I'm launching.

Clicked on your blog link and saw your review of the opium policy book you did for TNR. Used to subscribe, it's a fine pub as far as they go.
