Great, thanks. As for the rest, we'll be in a position to employ a number of strategies to improve the media once we launch, although I'm not interested in going after individual citizens who write letters to newspapers as we've already got our hands full in bringing attention to the deficits of the people who actually write for those papers. Also, we're not explicitly anti-conservative, although religious /cultural/social conservatives are barred from joining for a number of reasons; some of the people we'll be going after, like Thomas Friedman and Richard Cohen, are being targeted due to their incompetence, not ideology. But because our aim is to provide a better media in general, we'll naturally be targeting conservative pundits and bloggers to a far greater extent than left-moderates like Friedman.

I'll have more information soon. Though we won't be launching till August, we have a lot of decisions to make and preparations to which to attend in the meantime.

Hi,
I'm still not sure exactly what Project PM will do, but I'll sign on.  I recommend changing the name, however, as the name does not convey any information, but can easily be made fun of by adding an "S".

I have been pressing for the creation of "Media SWAT Teams," whose goal would be to do unto others what they would have done unto you: Each team has a core group of a dozen people, and a larger group of 100 or so.  If anyone feels he has to quit, he can do so only after getting 2 replacements. (Everyone makes this pledge before joining.)

The activities will be legal, but once they become effective, undoubtedly moves will be made to make them illegal, so the dozen people in the central group may have to change frequently.

Half a dozen of these will be Readers: they look even for letters to the editor by right-wingers.  The other half dozen will alert the 100 to take action, after digging up relevant contact information to target the offender: contact information for the offender's boss, his cousin's boss, his home telephone number, etc.  They will also possibly create websites attacking the offender listing his home address and pictures of his house.

What action?  Each person commits to sending one email a week, making one phone call every two weeks, and writing one letter a month.

Regards,
Jonathan

P.S. It should be "rock atop a cliff" not "clip".
