He seemed interested when I spoke to him. This is the
sort of thing he covers, and he could definitely get a lot of hits out of it,
particularly as I'd be willing to help promote it behind the scenes by way of
some e-mails to other editors, as well as reddit and other such things.

HOLLYWOOD
MOGUL'S WIFE SUES TO KILL HER OWN BOOK
Leslie Zemeckis, wife of
Hollywood uber Producer/Director Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Castaway, Back to the Future, A Christmas Carol)
has apparently sued the publisher of her upcoming book How to Live Like a Mistress (And
Reap the Rewards!) to keep it from being published. Mrs. Z last
made literary headlines in 2008 for a leaked copy of her chick-lit manuscript
that earned her ridicule on the New York publishing scene, with Gawker calling
it "exhausting, clichéd and unpolished." About the stalled new book,
Sterling & Ross publisher Drew Nederpelt says, “I don’t know if she got
cold feet because it’s so risqué or whether Bob read it and said ‘over my dead
body,’ but it’s true, we’re in litigation with Leslie over it. It took a
considerable amount of work to get into decent shape but it’s a blockbuster and
we’re intent on publishing it, regardless of this legal charade.” It should be
noted that Zemeckis is writing the book under her burlesque stage name of Staar. Indeed.

I don't think I did, re-send it, please. I'll call
Chris at S&V now and have him get in touch with you. S&V gets read by a
lot of producers and editors so a piece there will help. Also, we can make sure
that Gawker et all is aware from our end, easy as pie.
