Will get the ball rolling on the campaign to recruit and support Texas school board candidates at some point reasonably soon; the election's a long, long way off, so we'll have plenty of time to do our thing, but I still plan on getting the announcements out within the next month anyway.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know that we're going to have a tremendously increased ability to get our message out soon by way of Project PM, the entity I'm putting together for launch this summer. I've already recruited a couple dozen people to assist, many of whom are atheists or anti-religious, and they range in skill sets from Newsweek's former Baghdad correspondent to an expect on information security and architecture who advises governments to academics to programmers. The network itself already incorporates several anti-religious bloggers with a combined monthly unique readership of hundreds of thousands of people, and this is going to expand tremendously when we launch with the dozen or more other bloggers that we'll be able to recruit (and it will keep getting easier to recruit better people as we increase our viability by way of our size). Everything's still being put together, but soon enough, as head of this project I'll have the ability to inform more people than ever about our goals and reasoning and perhaps generate more donations for our candidates. We've also now got access to what is basically my personal cabinet of erudite folks with useful skills, so let me know if you have any requests. I'm having my executive assistant compile all of their info into a single document for easy reference, and will send that along to you when it's ready.
